Miley Cyrus - Miley Cyrus Criticised Over 'Disgusting' Behaviour

Miley Cyrus has come under fire from conservative campaigners in America after she was photographed posing suggestively with a phallic birthday cake.

The former child star hit headlines this week (beg23Jan12) after pictures from her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's 22nd birthday party emerged online.

The snaps showed Cyrus simulating oral sex with Hemsworth's chocolate cake, and the pictures have infuriated activists at the Culture and Media Institute (Cmi) who claim the singer/actress could have a negative influence on easily-swayed teens.

A statement from the Cmi, obtained by GossipCop.com, also condemns saucy new comedy movie The Bachelorette, which stars Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan and Isla Fisher as three foul-mouthed females attending a friend's pre-wedding party.

The statement reads, "Movies like Bachelorette and disgusting behaviour like Cyrus' may be part of the 'real world' of Hollywood, where casual sex is celebrated and frequent divorce is almost a rite of passage. But it is not the real world, because in the real world, sleazy behaviour has consequences."

Institute slams Miley’s lewd licking

We assume it was meant to be a funny, naughty gesture from a mischievous teen to her boyfriend. But not everyone is laughing at former Disney star Miley Cyrus’s latest antics.

The Culture and Media Institute joined the outcry after pictures of Cyrus licking her boyfriend’s penis-shaped birthday cake spread across the Internet. “Miley Cyrus, who made her career as the family friendly Hannah Montana, has grown into the latest example of how Hollywood warps young actresses into selling sleaze,” Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute told RadarOnline.com.

The 19-year-old star's boyfriend recently threw a party at Club Icon in Los Angeles, and during the festivities The Hunger Games star was presented with the phallic-shaped baked treat.

Miley jokingly pretended to lick the X-rated cake and shrieked with laughter as she prepared to cut it, photographs posted by TMZ.com revealed.

“Miley Cyrus, who made her career as the family friendly Hannah Montana, has grown into the latest example of how Hollywood warps young actresses into selling sleaze,” says Gainor.

“She is following a parade of former Disney stars - such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Lindsay Lohan - that the entertainment industry has manipulated into role models promoting sex to their young fans,” he added.

“The actresses know that the more sexualised they act, the more Hollywood will reward them. And no one, not the industry and not the pop-tarts themselves, cares that they are pushing sex to an underage audience.” - IOL and Bang Showbiz

Miley Cyrus steps out braless in see-through fashion mistake?

Miley Cyrus went braless in LA, but she not only stepped out without her undergarment, she chose to wear a thin white T-Shirt which was see-through. This wasn’t an easy thing to miss as Miley made her way down the sidewalk and as you can see in the picture on Radaronline, she turned heads.

Miley was meeting friends for dinner and she finished this outfit off with a pair of denim jean shorts that make “Daisy Dukes” look like Capris. She was very happy to smile for all the cameras and made no attempt to cover up her fashion mistake.

Along with her semi-exposed top, Miley is sporting a shorter and more cropped looking hair-do than usual. While she’s made that transition from Disney kid to adult, her mode of dress in this picture looked more like a kid’s choice of clothes than that of a pop diva, which is what she's been shooting for since leaving the kid venues.

Miley Cyrus Drank Too Much Last Night

Miley Cyrus has a bit too much to drink last night. Miley was out with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth on a double date with her parents Billy Ray and Tish. On the way out of the Mexican restaurant they attended, Miley was showing signs of drunkenness and was holding onto Liam for dear life.

When she was spotted by the paparazzi she said, "Too many margaritas!"

Miley Cyrus Drops $50k to Lose Weight

Miley Cyrus has always had a body lots of girls would kill for. When she stepped out at the People’s Choice Awards looking extra svelte (seriously, look at that tiny waist!), the world wondered how she did it. Here’s a hint: It wasn’t cheap!

In Touch Weekly reports that Cyrus plunked down $50,000 — again, $50,000! – to shed 15 pounds. (That amounts to roughly $3,333.33 per pound.) Cyrus sought out a nutritionist, personal chef and the services of her former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, to get bikini-ready ahead of her Hawaiian getaway with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. While she certainly looked great, that sounds like a bit much. What happened to salads and jogging?

In any case, the move is somewhat surprising from Cyrus, who has previously voiced her pride in her curves. In November, Cyrus came under fire for gaining weight (though we didn’t notice at all). She responded to the body backlash over Twitter with a photo of an emaciated young woman, writing, “By calling girls like me fat this is what you’re doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same http://t.co/djouYjU8.” Cyrus then attached a photo of the legendary curve queen Marilyn Monroe, tweeting, “PROOF that you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch.”

Cyrus even bonded with fellow former Disney starlet Demi Lovato over the incident, posting, “@ddlovato AMEN! I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F word. You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT! #werkthosecurves.”

In any case, Cyrus looked stunning before — and she still does now. As long as she’s healthy and happy, we consider it money well spent!

Playboy Eager for Singer to Pose, Eyes Selena Gomez as Well

If Miley Cyrus is serious about shedding her Disney image, the 19-year-old star might just have the perfect opportunity in front of her. Sources are revealing to NOW Magazine that Playboy is desperate for both Cyrus and fellow teen queen Selena Gomez to pose for the racy publication.

"They think it'd be a huge coup, albeit unlikely," an insider tells the British mag. "But since Miley's marijuana controversy gave her a bit of bad girl edge, they hope to convince her team that it's time to ditch the wholesome image and try something new."

While the report is still unsubstantiated by Playboy itself, the idea that the magazine would be eager to feature either Miley or Selena isn't that far-fetched. A recent issue of the publication with another former Disney star, Lindsay Lohan, on its cover broke sales records, according to Playboy's Hugh Hefner.

That must be why the mag is allegedly ready to offer over $2 million dollars to either Miley or Selena if they accept the offer.

This isn't the first time Miley has been connected to a Playboy pictorial. Rumors that the star would be featured the magazine have been floating around the internet for years. There's even a website dedicated to convincing Miley to shed her, ahem, inhibitions and pose for the publication.

Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth arrive at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday (January 11) in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old entertainer paired her David Koma dress with Neil Lane studs, Jimmy Choo heels, and a Marchesa bag.

“Can’t wait for People’s Choice with my boo today! Can’t wait to watch him present” Miley tweeted a few hours before the show.

Miley Cyrus wears a David Koma gown at People’s Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus looked amazing on Wednesday night at the People’s Choice Awards red carpet portion of the event. Wearing a deep V-cut front David Koma white gown the starlet brought her hunk Actor Liam Hemsworth to enjoy the evening and acknowledge the fans. One of the many starlets who walked the red carpet, Miley’s gown was sophisticated and tasteful, but wasn’t too sexy.

Miley Cyrus’ gown was definitely one of the best seen on the red carpet. Keeping a sharp eye, the fans who were live at the event got the first look at the fine threads and overwhelmingly approved. As always, Miley Cyrus took time for her fans during the event.
