Miley Cyrus has come under fire from conservative campaigners in America after she was photographed posing suggestively with a phallic birthday cake.

The former child star hit headlines this week (beg23Jan12) after pictures from her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's 22nd birthday party emerged online.

The snaps showed Cyrus simulating oral sex with Hemsworth's chocolate cake, and the pictures have infuriated activists at the Culture and Media Institute (Cmi) who claim the singer/actress could have a negative influence on easily-swayed teens.

A statement from the Cmi, obtained by GossipCop.com, also condemns saucy new comedy movie The Bachelorette, which stars Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan and Isla Fisher as three foul-mouthed females attending a friend's pre-wedding party.

The statement reads, "Movies like Bachelorette and disgusting behaviour like Cyrus' may be part of the 'real world' of Hollywood, where casual sex is celebrated and frequent divorce is almost a rite of passage. But it is not the real world, because in the real world, sleazy behaviour has consequences."

The Culture and Media Institute joined the outcry after pictures of Cyrus licking her boyfriend’s penis-shaped birthday cake spread across the Internet. “Miley Cyrus, who made her career as the family friendly Hannah Montana, has grown into the latest example of how Hollywood warps young actresses into selling sleaze,” Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute told RadarOnline.com.

The 19-year-old star's boyfriend recently threw a party at Club Icon in Los Angeles, and during the festivities The Hunger Games star was presented with the phallic-shaped baked treat.

Miley jokingly pretended to lick the X-rated cake and shrieked with laughter as she prepared to cut it, photographs posted by TMZ.com revealed.

Miley Cyrus went braless in LA, but she not only stepped out without her undergarment, she chose to wear a thin white T-Shirt which was see-through. This wasn’t an easy thing to miss as Miley made her way down the sidewalk and as you can see in the picture on Radaronline, she turned heads.

Miley was meeting friends for dinner and she finished this outfit off with a pair of denim jean shorts that make “Daisy Dukes” look like Capris. She was very happy to smile for all the cameras and made no attempt to cover up her fashion mistake.

In Touch Weekly reports that Cyrus plunked down $50,000 — again, $50,000! – to shed 15 pounds. (That amounts to roughly $3,333.33 per pound.) Cyrus sought out a nutritionist, personal chef and the services of her former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, to get bikini-ready ahead of her Hawaiian getaway with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. While she certainly looked great, that sounds like a bit much. What happened to salads and jogging?

In any case, the move is somewhat surprising from Cyrus, who has previously voiced her pride in her curves. In November, Cyrus came under fire for gaining weight (though we didn’t notice at all). She responded to the body backlash over Twitter with a photo of an emaciated young woman, writing, “By calling girls like me fat this is what you’re doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same http://t.co/djouYjU8.” Cyrus then attached a photo of the legendary curve queen Marilyn Monroe, tweeting, “PROOF that you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch.”

Cyrus even bonded with fellow former Disney starlet Demi Lovato over the incident, posting, “@ddlovato AMEN! I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F word. You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT! #werkthosecurves.”

In any case, Cyrus looked stunning before — and she still does now. As long as she’s healthy and happy, we consider it money well spent!

Playboy Eager for Singer to Pose, Eyes Selena Gomez as Well

If Miley Cyrus is serious about shedding her Disney image, the 19-year-old star might just have the perfect opportunity in front of her. Sources are revealing to NOW Magazine that Playboy is desperate for both Cyrus and fellow teen queen Selena Gomez to pose for the racy publication.

"They think it'd be a huge coup, albeit unlikely," an insider tells the British mag. "But since Miley's marijuana controversy gave her a bit of bad girl edge, they hope to convince her team that it's time to ditch the wholesome image and try something new."

While the report is still unsubstantiated by Playboy itself, the idea that the magazine would be eager to feature either Miley or Selena isn't that far-fetched. A recent issue of the publication with another former Disney star, Lindsay Lohan, on its cover broke sales records, according to Playboy's Hugh Hefner.

That must be why the mag is allegedly ready to offer over $2 million dollars to either Miley or Selena if they accept the offer.

Miley Cyrus T-shirt for brother Trace's clothing line

Miley Cyrus has helped her brother Trace Cyrus to design a T-shirt for his clothing line, Southern Made Hollywood Paid.

Trace, who revealed that they have always wanted to do the collaboration, was inspired by Miley's dream catcher tattoo for the shirt's design, reports People.

"I wanted to think of something that really reminded me of [her]," Trace said.

He added: "It was something we were always around since childhood, because of the influence from our dad."

The T-shirts, which also feature a peace sign and Miley's autograph, are sold for $28 each with all proceeds going to Miley's Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation.

Erstwhile Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has hit out at rumours suggesting she's had breast enhancement surgery.

Rumours that the starlet had opted for a boob job surfaced after the 19-year-old rocked the red carpet at a bash in Los Angeles on Sunday, decked out in a plunging Roberto Cavalli dress.

The former Disney darling was accompanied by her boyfriend, actor Liam Hemsworth who joined her at the CNN Heroes: All-Star Tribute.

Star magazine (via RadarOnline), on what must have been a crawling news day, stirred the mix and fuelled the bust-boosting rumours - they even drafted in a trio of "experts" who supposedly claimed "there's a strong indication" Cyrus has gone "under the knife to achieve the voluptuous new look."

Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet of the American Giving Awards in hopes to raise awareness to other who change the community and the award. The first annual event is hosted by NBC and airs on Saturday night, only a day after the stars gathered in Los Angeles to tape the show. Sharing the best of the community, it was a chance to intertwine entertainment and good deeds to remind the audience to help during the holiday time of the year.

The taping, only a night prior, had Miley Cyrus impressing the crowds as she walked the red carpet. One of the primary stars of the award show, she showed up in an off cream gown that showed off all her curves.

It's hard to imagine that stars like Miley can still have "dreams" outside of what they have already achieved, but evidently they do! All of the commotion was due to Miley's recent speech at her birthday party where she joked about a love for pot. This originated from that popular Miley Cyrus smoking salvia from a bong video that was viral online not long ago. Her good pal Kelly Osbourne made sure to go on Twitter recently and insisted that Miley's comments at the birthday bash were just part of a big joke. However, many Twitter users decided to go after Osbourne for her comments in defense of Miley. Like a good friend, Miley Cyrus was quick to tweet out:

Miley Cyrus Ain't a Stoner, but Who'd Care If She Was?

True that. If I were Miley Cyrus I'd worry more about explaining how I acquired that unicorn and smuggled it into my birthday party. The fairies and elves have got to be seriously pissed about that.

As for the whole marijuana flap—in which Miley called herself a stoner and then trotted out her friends to explain she was joking—I can explain the confusion quite simply:

You're absolutely right that most of Cyrus's fans could not even care less about what she smokes. She's 19 now, after all, and no longer bound to Disney and the family fare that channel represents. (A year ago, Cyrus was seen smoking salvia, and even though she broke no laws, the image of a barely 18-year-old Cyrus with a bong was seen as much more scandalous.)

And yet, soon after Cyrus declared herself a "stoner" in a birthday video, good friend Kelly Osbourne felt the need to Tweet a vigorous defense of Cyrus, insisting that "If @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she works everyday. How could she possible do all that if she was a stoner!"

Cyrus's publicists also have gone into spin mode, saying the whole so-called pot admission was just a big joke.

Why all the careful backtracking? Because the kids aren't the only parties who matter, my dear.

EXCUSE YOU: Who's Calling Miley Fat?

"Fans don't care," says independent marketer Jeannie Long, who has does extensive work with the teen demographic. "But the media does and will glom on to stuff like that and associate it with her forever."

As a result, still other parties might see decide that Cyrus suddenly doesn't make for good business, Long explains.

"If the media keeps hammering home about someone being a certain way...it definitely effects jobs that the star can get—sponsorships, corporate tie-ins," Long says.

Indeed: Champion swimmer Michael Phelps lost a lucrative partnership with Kellogg's after he was photographed using a bong.

So while fans will always love Miley, she has unicorns to buy, and that can only be achieved if she continues to get jobs.

In a video obtained by The Daily last week, the 19-year-old singer was feted at her November 22 birthday party with a Bob Marley-themed cake that suggested she was a big fan of marijuana.

Her last album and single were released back in 2010, meaning that it has been well over a year since we saw anything new. That is a long time in a world where Rihanna releases a new album every year. Miley's last single 'Who Owns My Heart' flopped, and she never bothered to follow it up with anything else.

And movies? Well she's filmed LOL and So Undercover in the past year, although neither one is due out until 2012. Will they even get released? And there is nothing on the horizon for Miss Miley Cyrus. No TV, no films.

At least she has Twitter to keep her entertained. And boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who is quickly turning into a bigger star than her.

Miley has been working full steam ahead since she was 12 -- and now she is finally taking a break.

After spending her teenage years on Hannah Montana Miley is finally getting a bit of time to chill with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and be a young adult.

Music? It's not as if Miley hasn't been working all year. She toured South America and Australia in the middle of the year, clocking up over 20 shows. She's been recording songs since she was a kid, and doesn't need to be chained to a recording studio.

And don't think that Miley doesn't have a whole heap of projects lined up. She's filmed starring roles in LOL with Ashley Greene and Demi Moore, and So Undercover with Kelly Osbourne. She also voiced a character in Hotel Transylvania. With all three films due out in 2012, expect to see Miley on the promo trail and all over TV, radio and magazines for most of the year.

Exactly Who Is Calling Miley Cyrus Fat?

Pop star Miley Cyrus made national headlines this week for a Tweet in which she and her friend Demi Lovato denied she was fat. If this doesn't seem newsworthy, just hold on.

As one ABC News article stated, “Pop superstar Miley Cyrus has shown off her body in music videos and racy photos, but lately, the 18-year-old singer and actress has been on a weight rollercoaster. Her fuller figure has some critics saying she's lost control of her body.”

A piece on Fox News added,

Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to defend her curvy shape after online critics criticized her for piling on the pounds.... Cyrus tweeted in response, posting a graphic picture of an emaciated woman suffering from an eating disorder to her 3.5 million Twitter followers. "I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won't mind either," Cyrus added. Fellow Disney star Demi Lovato chimed in to offer her support to Cyrus. "I love you," Lovato told the former "Hannah Montana" star in a tweet. "Whoever called you that has it coming."

It is of course disheartening to hear that celebrities who put on a few pounds are being teased and harassed. But Lovato brings up an interesting question: Just who, exactly, commented on Cyrus's weight? Given the headlines this has generated (including a television segment on ABC News), you might assume it was a pop star rival, or a celebrity news reporter, or at least some famous blogger on an entertainment Web site.

Nope. It was an anonymous nobody, someone who goes by the Youtube handle of “kellybestinitup,” who no one has ever heard of, and whose opinions no one cares about.

This has happened before; in 2009 ABC News writer Sheila Marikar noted,

It’s been a bad week for high-waist jeans, leopard print belts and one Jessica Simpson. After Simpson performed at a Florida country radio station’s chili cook-off Sunday clad in the aforementioned outfit and coming off a bit more curvy than usual, critics pulled out their claws to slam the once svelte singer-actress for her new, larger figure.... Women in Hollywood are also stepping up to the star’s defense. "It’s just ridiculous—another woman being body-bashed for the quote-unquote infraction of looking normal," plus-size supermodel Emme told ABCNews.com.

And just who were these critics body-bashing the “courageous” Jessica Simpson? One or two anonymous bloggers on a gossip web site.

NEWS: Most Women Would Not Trade Anything To Be Thin

There's little doubt that fat bias exists, and of course it's unkind to make fun of anyone for their physical appearance. But in their rush to express their indignant outrage over comments about their weight, these celebrities and their defenders miss an important point: The insulting, attention-seeking bloggers who criticize celebs for a few extra pounds do not represent a national fat-hating media bias, nor the American public’s opinion. No one took a poll of Americans and found that most think that Cyrus or Simpson needs to lose weight.

NEWS: Thin Wives Make For Happy Marriages?

The fact is that outside of the paparazzi-infested Hollywood bubble (the so-called “thirty-mile zone” from which the gossip TV show TMZ gets its name), most of us don't care. Americans are busy worrying about our own lives and couldn't care less if Miley Cyrus put on a few pounds or if Jessica Simpson looks good in a bikini. These nameless critics don't reflect anyone’s opinions but their own, and by taking the bait and responding the stars just give their critics the attention they want.

It's not as if these “fat shaming” critics have any credibility or stature, or have opinions anyone listens to or cares about. The anonymity of the Internet is famous for helping generate mean-spirited discussions and name-calling, so no one should be surprised that out of the tens of thousands of bloggers who write about entertainment, pop culture, and celebrities, a few of them will try to generate Web traffic by saying something insulting.

Why in the world would an international superstar like Miley Cyrus even notice (much less care about or respond to) some random nasty comment or video posted by “kellybestinitup” that would have been completely ignored if she hadn’t responded to it?

Publicity. By responding to insulting comments like these, celebrities generate benign controversy and sympathetic news headlines while scoring points for standing up against the Hollywood thin ideal. It’s all showbiz.

Miley Cyrus Used 'Fat' Comment for Publicity?

This past week Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato responded to a comment about Miley's weight. Cyrus and Lovato took to Twitter to fight back at a comment that someone made about Miley getting a little "chubby." Did Miley do this to keep herself in the news?

This is the classic "if I'm not in the news, I will create a little sympathetic news about myself" thus rallying all the star's fans around a cause. This seems to be the case for Miley, Demi and the entire 'extra five pounds' debate.

True the cause is sympathetic. There is no denying that there is too much emphasis placed on the looks of the Hollywood elite. Add to this current technology that seemingly airbrushes every photo to the point of no one knows what is real and what is digitally enhanced these days.

Speaking of digitally enhanced....it was a video by a complete nobody on YouTube that started this rant. Nearly 18,000 views later, this person called kellybestinitup has gotten attention for her Photoshop job on Miley Cyrus and Miley has gotten a reason to go on a Twitter crusade.

The news media took Miley and Demi Lovato's tweets and turned them into front-page news. The funny thing is, if Miley had just ignored it, this kellybestinitup person would have had 200 views on her stupid video and no one would have cared. Instead, Cyrus used some anonymous YouTube poster as a reason to put herself back in the spotlight. Goodness, this has to be better publicity than a wardrobe malfunction or a "nip-slip," right?

It’s a Disney love fest.

Earlier this month, one Disney diva showered compliments on another. Miley Cyrus took to her Twitter account to speak out about notions of body image and to celebrate the curves of fellow teen queen Demi Lovato.

First, Cyrus tweeted a photo of a super skinny woman with her ribs popping out, and encouraged girls to love themselves. She wrote: “By calling girls like me fat this is what you’re doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same http://t.co/djouYjU8.”

She then posted a photo of the curvy icon Marilyn Monroe, who has long been considered a standard of beauty. Cyrus tweeted: “PROOF that you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch.” You go, girl! We could not have said it better ourselves.

Miley was on fire about body consciousness, right? This prompted an “Amen” reply from the lovely Lovato, who has battled more than her fair share of weight comments over the past few months.

Miley Cyrus has received a lot of love from Guinness World Records. Now it has announced that she will be in the 2012 edition of the book! She has been a fixture in the series of books for the past 4 years now. She will be included in the 2012 edition for 4 entries, which are the following.

The most popular teenager on twitter.
The teenager with fastest #1 albums.
The highest-paid teenager today.

Miley has a lot to be proud about. However, I will say that a lot of stars have also has similar records. Like Justin Bieber, however, he will be included in next year’s book as well. While I will say that she has earned her spot, I do think that others are sometimes over looked before her. However, that is not her fault. I do wonder how she feels about these honors since most are about her music?

Miley Cyrus Tweets Shocking Nude Pic

Miley Cyrus has just about had it up to her reportedly chubby cheeks with snide remarks, erroneous speculation, and gratuitous gossip about her recent weight gain. For the past week, various celebrity websites have labeled the So Undercover star as everything from pregnant to just plain fat. On November 14, Miley returned to Twitter to protest, and she made her displeasure felt in a unique way. She tweeted a shocking nude photo and with it, the following message.

"By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others."

Yikes. Miley Cyrus sounds really mad. And the photo she posted with her tweet showed just how angry she was. The photo, which you can see by clicking here, wasn't a naked picture of Miley. It was a shocking shot of an anorexic model sitting on her bony bottom clad in a pair of tiny bikini panties.

She's hiding her face on her arms which are clasped around her bony knees. All of her protruding ribs are clearly visible, as are her hip bones and shoulder blades. It's a stark and shocking image. And it's sure to hammer home to the media the fact that they've offended Miley Cyrus deeply--even if it doesn't get the crux of Miley Cyrus' message across.

Of course, the question is: will the disturbing photo of the moribund anorexic model have any effect on our society's thin-is-in obsession for females. Probably not. Alas, a good indication is the fact that one allegedly offending celebrity website posted a close-up pic of Miley Cyrus' rather porcine countenance right alongside the scary skinny model. Its caption wondered if La Cyrus' "hell of a bloated face [resulted] from too much food, too much booze, or, you know, too much sex - which could result in PREGNANCY." Ouch.

Looks like this smack down is just beginning.

The 18-year-old singer was incensed that there were rumblings online that she had put on some pounds and reports in the media that she was now overweight.

Fans of the performer took to her Twitter account yesterday calling Miley a "role model" and an "inspiration" leading the teen star to hit back at the negative press she has been receiving recently.

"By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people," Miley said and posted a graphic image of an emaciated woman suffering from an eating disorder before adding, "I love MYSELF."

Hicks: Miley Cyrus is right

Lost in this week's pop culture pandemonium over Brad Pitt contemplating retirement, George Clooney contemplating suicide and the Kardashians doing ... whatever they did to damage civilization and irritate humanity, a small news item caught my eye.

"Miley Cyrus upset by fat comments; says she loves being shaped like a woman."

My first thought was, "When did Miley Cyrus become a woman?"

Intrigued by the prospect of having missed this cultural benchmark, I continued reading and discovered that our country's newest woman is upset over speculation about her apparent weight gain which, as everyone knows, happens the day a girl turns 18 and her hips and bust expand like she's a Transformer.

Instead of responding with a bunch of comments about hating haters who are hatefully hating and whatnot, Miley Cyrus did something completely sensible, mature and kind of intelligent.

I'm not sure what planet this is. Cyrus posted a picture of an emaciated model, and wrote "By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people."

Actually, we should blame that on the fashion industry. But her point was well made.

Then she posted a picture of Marilyn Monroe, captioned with "Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men, when your thighs touch."

True enough, though it was a lot more than thousands of men.

In retrospect, being adored by thousands of men probably shouldn't be the goal of any woman not in the pin-up/Maxim model/stripper industry.

I have four girls, none of whom I encourage to be adored by thousands of men, unless those men work for them or are voting for them in a presidential primary. "Respect" would be a better word. Perhaps, in the case of my girls, "feared" would be even better.

But -- ignoring the fact that Cyrus went on to threaten to "destroy" anyone calling her friend Demi Lovato fat (the singer and actress went to rehab for, among other things, an eating disorder last year) -- I get where the girl, er ... woman, is coming from. Everyone wants to be physically attractive.

It's the definition of "attractive" that's changing. Only the fashion industry -- with its hold on the hearts and minds of so many females -- hasn't gotten that through its collective, well-coiffed head.

Rotten role models

Despite years of criticism from medical professionals and otherwise incredibly sensible people like Miley Cyrus and me, the fashion industry still exhibits its wares mostly on the frames of women who weigh as much as my left leg, telling us "this is what women should aspire to look like."

I'm not sure why, because expressionless women who get carried away by a moderate breeze aren't that physically attractive.

And it's not just me. Or hasn't anyone else figured out that it isn't intelligence, sunny personality or a rapier wit that keep men paying attention to Kim Kardashian?

Healthy women who are physically and mentally strong are the new black.

Which is why, over the past decade, Hollywood has made so many films featuring female heroes who can roundhouse kick a man through a tree trunk.

Men go to those movies because we like that in a woman.

Once I discovered my wife had the skill to put an arrow through my cranium at 75 yards, I was hooked.

The fashion industry is woefully behind on what constitutes "attractive" in the 21st century.

No longer do men want someone who looks like she's been spending too much time giving blood. At least Miley says so. And, odd as it feels, I couldn't agree more.

Miley Cyrus dissed by Taylor Swift?

Miley Cyrus was indirectly dissed by Taylor Swift in a new interview with 60 Minutes. Evidently the country star took a dig at the teen queen, countering something she said with a comeback that was apparently a dig.

"I definitely think abouFile:Taylor Swift.jpgt a million people when I'm getting dressed in the morning and that's just part of my life now. I think it's my responsibility to know it and to be conscious of it," said Swift. According to Hollywood Life, Miley Cyrus made a comment about not being a role model and not dressing with her fans in mind.

While Taylor may not have meant to diss Miley directly, it certainly sounds like she's taking a different approach when it comes to her image. A lot of teen performers push the boundaries when it comes to their clothing, tattoos, and hair-dos (to name a few aspects) and it could be considered a form of rebellion.

Taylor Swift, however, is taking her position as a "role model" seriously. She is mindful of what she does whether she is on or off the stage... and that's her prerogative.

Bob Dylan To Receive The Miley Cyrus Treatment

Bob Dylan will be covered by Miley Cyrus on an upcoming tribute album set for release early next year. The project will serve as a fundraiser for Amnesty International and is titled Chimes Of Freedom: Songs Of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.

Thus far there has been no official word on what track Miley will cover for the album. She joins a diverse mix of pop and rock hitmakers for the project including Adele, who will cover "Make You Feel My Love," as well as Sting, the Dave Matthews Band, Patti Smith and My Morning Jacket.

Cyrus is not, however, the only mainstream pop act enlisted for the project. Ke$ha also recently confirmed she'll offer up a rendition of the track "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" noting:

"When you think of me, you wouldn't think of Bob Dylan. My music is more about the going crazy than politics. But he's a huge influence - he writes his own music and means what he says. I write my own music and I mean every word I sing."

Pint-Sized Miley Cyrus Hacker Seeks Jail Pass

Citing his diminutive physical stature among other mitigating factors, the Tennessee man who hacked Miley Cyrus’s e-mail account has asked a federal judge to spare him prison time when he appears Monday for sentencing on felony spamming and computer fraud charges.

In an October 26 pre-sentencing memorandum, the lawyer for Josh Holly, 22, argued that a probation term would be “sufficiently onerous punishment for a first-time offender of immature mental age.” Even a brief jail term, attorney Sumter Camp contended, “would hinder rather than aid Josh’s rehabilitation.”

Camp also noted that Holly deserved credit for meeting earlier this year with an FBI agent to provide “information about others that he was aware were involved in illegal computer-related activities.”

Holly, pictured in the above mug shot, pleaded guilty in August to possessing about 200 stolen credit card numbers and to sending spam mailings via MySpace. He has not been charged in connection with the late-2007 Cyrus hack, for which he took credit in online postings, as well as in an October 2008 FBI interview. Holly distributed online racy images of the underage Cyrus that he found in her Gmail account.

As for Holly’s “suggested sentence of probation with home detention,” Hester countered that such a penalty would not be sufficient, stating that “further negative reinforcement is needed to deter future criminal conduct.” The prosecutor also noted that Holly recently violated terms of his release by accessing the Internet and posting messages on Facebook and Google+.

In a July 4 Facebook post, Holly wrote, "I’m having these strong urges to start playing around and hacking shit again, there’s so much new stuff on the net. I can’t stop these urges. Am I a bad person?” Holly's unauthorized online activity was described in a U.S. District Court filing made by a Pretrial Services Officer.

While the respective court submissions do not detail the specific sentencing guideline range Holly faces, it appears that his possible prison exposure is limited. In fact, Hester wrote that if Judge Aleta Trauger opted for a probationary sentence, the Department of Justice recommended that Holly “serve three (3) consecutive days in actual custody” to be followed by 90 days in a halfway house.

One website, Hollywoodtuna.com, is claiming British reality show star and model Amy Childs could be a bustier version of the Disney princess. Of course, there are many look-a-like actresses, including The Playboy Club star Amber Heard and Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley, and Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel.

The two young women do somewhat resemble each other facially, and they're both brunettes, but that's where the similarities end.

So with multiple incidents sans brassiere and with serious side cleavage, both on and off the red carpet, is the pop star endeavoring to let it all hang out and start a new fashion trend? Or are her exhibitionist tendencies really just for silliness and show (plus the requisite buzz)?

She's obviously not concerned about the lack of modesty affecting her status as a teen role model, given her previous indiscretions with scanty wardrobe selections and that infamous bong. Miley Cyrus has a craving for dogs…hot dogs that is. The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer was spotted chowing down on some wieners at a food truck in Culver City, California earlier this week.

Billy Ray Thought Miley Would Bring "Hope" To The World

Billy Ray has revealed why he originally called his daughter Destiny Hope, before she changed her name to Miley Cyrus.

In an interview with Piers Morgan this week, the country singer told the talk show host that he thought the Party In The U.S.A. singer would bring "hope" to people.

"This was Miley's dream. This was her - I believe to touch people's lives. Through her music and her life," he told Piers. "I still believe that.

"You know, her name was originally Destiny Hope, I had given her the name before she was born because I had a vision. I felt it was her destiny to bring hope to the world.

No Charges In Miley Cyrus Hacking Case

JULY 14--The Tennessee man who has admitted hacking Miley Cyrus’s e-mail and MySpace accounts will not be charged for that illegal breach, though he is expected to plead guilty to federal charges related to other illegal online incursions.

Josh Holly, 21, is facing a pair of felony charges, according to a criminal information filed in U.S. District Court in Nashville. According to an affidavit filed by his lawyer, Holly and prosecutors “have agreed” to the charges.

Holly was originally charged in January with a single felony count of illegally possessing about 200 credit card numbers that had either been lost, stolen, or somehow fraudulently obtained. Last month, an additional count was filed against Holly, apparently as a result of debriefing sessions with FBI agents.

The new felony charge accuses Holly, pictured in the mug shot at right, of accessing “a protected computer without authorization” so that he could surreptitiously send out spam e-mails. Specifically, Holly infiltrated MySpace accounts to “intentionally initiate the transmission of multiple commercial electronic mail messages.”

During an October 2008 search of his Murfreesboro home, Holly told FBI Agent Victor Rodriguez that he "often used accounts belonging to celebrities” to send out spam due to “the high volume of Internet traffic they attracted." Bank records obtained by the FBI revealed the lucrative nature of Holly’s spam operation, which began in 2005. During one nine-month period, for example, he was paid more than $110,000 to send out unwanted mailings.

In addition to copping to spamming, Holly--who is known online as “Trainreq”--admitted hacking Cyrus’s Gmail and MySpace accounts and posting private images of the singer. However, despite that admission, federal prosecutors have opted not to pursue charges related to that hack.

Sumter Camp, Holly’s attorney, did not return TSG calls seeking comment about his client’s case.

Holly became an outcast in hacker circles after court records revealed that he had been debriefed by federal agents and, according to an FBI affidavit, "identified various persons who had aided and abetted his activities."

Since being charged, Holly, who once was a regular on forums like Digital Gangster, has maintained an extremely low profile. In fact, last week Camp filed a sealed motion for Holly to change his residence. The motion, which was approved by a federal magistrate judge, reportedly contained “confidential information” about Holly--presumably like his new home address.

THE Miley Cyrus concert at Burswood Dome will be remembered for its show of flesh by both the Hannah Montana star and many of her young fans.

A Perth child health expert says parents who allowed their young daughters to wear high heels and mini skirts at last night's Miley Cyrus concert were exposing their kids to dangerous situations.

Some concert-goers contacted PerthNow to say they were shocked at how young many of the fans were - given the raunchiness of the show - and how little clothes many of them were wearing.

Associate Professor Helen Street, a psychologist who lectures in the School of Psychiatry and Clinical Neuroscience at the University of WA, says allowing young children to dress in such a way in public is “totally inappropriate''.

She says parents who dress their kids up in a sexualised manner are exposing them to dangerous situations.

“I personally think that (children) dressing in such a provocative and sexualised way is totally inappropriate,” Assoc Prof Street said.

“Beyond that I think it is potentially dangerous, emotionally and socially.

“To dress up at home or experiment with mum’s make-up is one thing but to actually put on make-up and sexually revealing clothes to go out in is totally inappropriate.”

Cyrus - famous for the sweet schoolgirl persona of Hannah Montana - cut a totally different figure on stage at Burswood on Saturday night, dressed in tiny leather hot pants, a sparkling bra and boot-suspenders attached to her shorts.

Cyrus's dance moves, complete with crotch-grabbing and sexy hair-flicking, surprised some, given the age of many of the 18-year-old's singer's fans. But to many others, it's all part of the pop-culture spectacle - something fans look up to and even emulate.

Assoc Prof Street said girls of primary school age who were allowed to wear revealing clothes were being given mixed and confused messages by their parents.

“In the sense that they are learning behaviours that they don’t really have an understanding of in terms of the impacts of those behaviours,” she said.

“Once they do understand the impacts of those behaviours than they are learning of inappropriate ways to get attention by using sexuality as a means to be popular and socialise…which is unhealthy.”

Assoc Prof Street said it was easy for parents to fall into the trap of doing what other parents did and follow their lead.

“I think it’s very easy for parents to get caught up in thinking well so and so’s mum does that so I am going to do it too,” she said.

“I’d say don’t be drawn into looking at what other parents are doing, think very carefully where your own values lie.”

Assoc Prof Street said more information should be made available to parents on what sort of impact dressing children in a sexualised manner can have on their kids health and well-being. She said more educational programs could be offered to students in schools addressing the issue.

One concertgoer said on PerthNow today that such raunchiness should have been kept to to the stage.

“Some parents should be ashamed of letting their daughters go out in what they were wearing last night... horrified would be one term used,” the reader said.

TOO MUCH, TOO SOON
Fan NANCY MCDONALD explains why she was shocked to see so many scantily-clad tweens at the Burswood show.

GONE are the days when teenage girls could look to popstars like the Spice Girls for "girl power" in admiration. Sitting in the crowd of Miley Cyrus's concert at the Burswood Dome I was overwhelmed and saddened at what tweens have to look up to as their role models.

Grabbing her crotch repeatedly in leather hot-pants that left nothing to the imagination, with knee high boots and a jewelled bustier, Cyrus was trying too hard to shake her once wholesome Disney image. Where had Hannah Montana gone? The bright-eyed positive reflection of youth? Where along the way was it okay for a teen hero to sell sex?

As I left the performance I turned to a girlfriend, who is 21 years old, and said: "When I have a daughter, can you remind me she is never allowed to go to a concert like this or dress like that''.

On stage Cyrus's sexualised performance was disturbing - as girls as young as five sitting in front of me sung along to every word despite the fact she ignored them, not once speaking about Australia or her Australian fans.

What was worse was what her fans turned up to the concert wearing. It was a freezing night yet little girls barely of primary-school age, were in heels, mini skirts, midriff tops, knee high boots, stacks of make-up and hardly anyone had a jacket.

I'm not a prude nor out of touch with pop culture, but I was shocked and disappointed at the new generation of pop fans and their idea of what is acceptable.

Maybe I have my own mother to thank for teaching me the lyrics to Van Morrison's Brown-Eyed Girl rather than how to whip my hair back and forth like Miley.

Does it come back to these girls' own mothers - some dressed like their daughters - who allow their children to watch and idolise such sexualised images or does the blame lie with Cyrus herself?

Miley Cyrus admits she's nervous about performing

Few would describe Miley Cyrus as the shy and retiring type.

But the 18-year-old singer has admitted she is worried about performing her raunchy dance routines when her Gypsy Heart tour gets to Melbourne - because boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's parents will be watching.

Liam, 21, comes from Melbourne, and his parents Craig and Leonie will be in the front row when Miley performs there on Thursday.

Miley Cyrus is looking forward to letting her hair down while in Perth, according to her support act Michael Paynter.

Cyrus, who will finish up the Australian leg of her Gypsy Heart world tour at the Burswood Dome tonight, arrived on Wednesday for some pre-show downtime, including a spot of shopping and lunch in Subiaco.

According to Paynter, who has previously opened shows for The Script, Vanessa Amorosi and Seal, the 18-year-old Disney star is enjoying the Australian party scene.

"I have partied with her and I'll probably never do it again. It almost wrecked me. She loves to party so she doesn't make it easy on herself," he said.

"When she's on stage she's an incredible performer, very accomplished. But when she's off stage she's a normal 18-year-old girl, down to the very last detail. She's just crazy, she's great."

According to Paynter, Perth fans will have to judge the tween star's controversial cover of Nirvana's angst anthem Smells Like Teen Spirit for themselves.

"It's the bravest thing I've heard someone do in awhile," he said.

"The first few shows [of the world tour] were in South America and the crowd was completely silent, no one knew it. All these kids didn’t know Nirvana."

Paynter, the self-confessed "slurry of the Australian support act industry" has been warming up crowds for more than 10 years and has enjoyed touring with See You Again singer. The seven-show national tour has given him the opportunity to showcase his new single How Sweet It Is as well as others including his Top 20 hit with The Veronicas, Love The Fall.

"It's been amazing, she's a very generous spirit and a very honest, normal, down-to-earth human being. There's no security backstage. Backstage she just sits down with you, eats dinner with you, she's a really sweet person," he said.

In the past week, How Sweet It Is was the number one most added song to radio. Something he considers a huge achievement as he wrote, produced and mixed the single at home.

"I didn’t think anyone would listen to this one without The Veronicas in it, I'm really humbled," he said.

Young fan rushes Miley Cyrus onstage

A young Miley Cyrus fan managed to run onstage and grab the singer during her concert in Melbourne.

The girl ran up behind Cyrus and grabbed her shoulder before being wrangled offstage by a security guard at Rod Laver Arena on Friday night, TMZ reports.

The 18-year-old former Hannah Montana star had been in the middle of singing her hit song 'The Climb'.

She looked shocked and said "oh my god" into the microphone before the security guard quickly led the intruder offstage.

SECURITY measures will be stepped up for Miley Cyrus's Sydney concert tonight after an over-eager fan embarrassed her minders by scrambling on stage and grabbing the Disney star during a Melbourne performance on Friday.

As she made her way through Sydney Airport ahead of the sell-out show yesterday evening, about 50 screaming teenage fans, some who had been waiting since 8am to see the US singer, were held at bay by Cyrus's security team.

Before she got off the plane, her fans were told that Cyrus had specifically requested she not be touched and that she would not be interacting with anyone. "If anyone touches her they will be escorted from the premises," a security guard told the crowd.

Understandably, very few were slam-banging their heads while Miley was singing the song. Most in the audience were probably as young as that naked baby (Spencer Elden) pictured on the cover of “Nevermind” album (where “Teen Spirit” is culled from, along with other now-classics like “Come As You Are” and “Lithium”). Yet, the grown-up ’90s kids approved of Miley’s cover choice.

The 18-year-old Miley earned respect on that one, even if her version was not that exceptional. There on stage, Disney’s former “Hannah Montana” star was showcasing herself as an engaged listener of old school rock, appreciative of how past generations treated music and lyrics.

MILEY Cyrus caught up with one of her number one fans before her rather raunchy show at Adelaide Entertainment Centre this week.

Sixteen-year-old Tina May, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, has been a patient in the Women's and Children's Hospital for 12 months, where her room is plastered with Miley posters and even a fabulous Miley bedspread.

But, needless to say, nothing was going to keep Tina away from Wednesday night's show.

In the lead-up to what she described as "the single most exciting thing in my life", Tina checked herself in for a Miley makeover, having her hair and make-up done by City Chic and Iris Boutique.

While she was a little shy at first, Tina certainly warmed up as Miley happily chatted away and signed autographs and posed for photos with her. And it turns out Miley also was making a special effort ahead of her meeting with Tina.

The staff at Tan Ezy were given a little shock as Ms Cyrus turned up with two burly bodyguards and an assistant on Wednesday afternoon for a little "tanning top-up".

Apparently Miley was booked under the name "Gabriella C" and while we think that the 20 minutes she's rumoured to have spent on the sun bed is more than enough vitamin D for anyone, Know & Tell is happy to report that she was a charming customer, signing autographs for all the staff.

Faces in the crowd at Miley's performance included David Penberthy, who shared his experiences of taking his eight-year-old daughter to the show on The Punch, and Nicole Cornes. All I can say is that given some of Miley's revealing costumes, Hannah Montana has definitely left the building.

If there is one thing that teen celebrity Miley Cyrus understands very well, it’s that her voice carries considerable weight and influence, especially among teens.

The Hannah Montana star recorded a video for GetUrGoodOn.org, an offshoot of the charity organization Youth Service America, dedicated to encouraging youth from the ages of 5-25 to get involved in community and charity organizations.

In the video, Cyrus encourages kids across the country to get together and do what inspires them—to reach out and lead by example and to get involved in making a difference in the world.

“The mission of the foundation… is [for] kids to encourage other kids not to spend time putting each other down, but to come together and meet through this, and for it not to be about anything else but love and the passion of doing good,” Miley says in the new video. "The biggest way to do that is through the internet. So I wanted people to be on the internet, talking about what needs to be done and what they should be doing to encourage other kids. You can do anything [on the site] that inspires you, it’s what you want to change and what you want to do. It’s kids making their opinions matter and getting out there and changing the world.”

Cyrus has been very passionate about giving back ever since she burst onto the scene with her role as Hannah Montana for Disney. She has thrown her support behind such causes like Musicians on Call, City of Hope, the Libby Ross Foundation, the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation and several others.

Miley Cyrus Remembers ‘Jackass’ Star Ryan Dunn

Miley Cyrus has paid tribute to late Jackass star star Ryan Dunn by posting a snap of them together on her Twitter page.

Dunn was killed in a high speed car crash in Pennsylvania on Monday. According to West Goshen police, toxicology tests reveal that at the time of his death, Dunn’s blood-alcohol level was 0.196 – more than twice the state’s legal limit.

Cyrus took to Twitter to share a snap of her and Dunn, writing: “Just found this picture of me cracking up at Ryan Dunn. What a happy energy he had. RIP =[" accompanied by a snap of them together.

Jackass costar Johnny Knoxville also paid tribute to Dunn. He took to his blog to say "what I wished I could have told everyone then."

"I felt 34-percent funnier when I was with Ryan, but I guess everyone did," Knoxville said. "He had such a hair trigger laugh reflex. He lived his life wanting to laugh and wanting you to laugh with him. He would cackle really f**king loud, too, and it wasn't uncommon that he would fall over from it. Sometimes I would fall with him because his spirit was very contagious.

"A lion's share of [Ryan's love] went to his sweet and beautiful Angie,” Knoxville said.

“If he wasn’t with her he would be talking about her. The Disney teen-sensation also shows little sign of giving up her top spot without a fight, with countless projects lined up including a movie named ‘LOL’ co-starring Demi Moore.

According to reports, Billy Ray Cyrus wants to create another Hannah Montana show, but this one will be about Hannah before she was Hannah. It sounds like Billy Ray is just trying to keep the Hannah Montana gravy train rolling.

In this version of Hannah Montana it wouldn't be Miley Cyrus playing the lead role but instead Billy Ray has hand picked his other daughter, Noah Cyrus, to fill those huge shoes. Now it really sounds like their father is trying to keep the money rolling in regardless if it's a good idea doesn't it?

Is it really worth it to Billy Ray Cyrus to drag another child through the mud of Hollywood just to keep getting paid and keep his name relevant and in the press?

I have my doubts as to whether or not this version of Montana would be anywhere near as popular as the first. Miley Cyrus hasn’t left much to the imagination on her Gypsy Heart Tour. But now she’s fretting that she’s gone over the top with racy costumes that might freak out her on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth’s parents. They’re going to her show in Australia.

Cyrus will play in Melbourne, Hemsworth’s hometown today (June 23), and his parents, Craig and Leonie, are planning to go to the concert. Will they think she’s a slut?

So far, however, she hasn’t toned down her act. In her Brisbane show, she was a raucous as ever while momager Tish Cyrus and Hemsworth watched from the stage wings.

“I’m really nervous about it. I’m going to be right on front of them in my Can’t Be Tamed outfit. Oh my God,” Cyrus said during a radio interview on Sydney radio station 2DayFM.

“I hate it when people I know are right there in front of me in the audience,” she added.

Although Cyrus and Hemsworth split last October after dating a year, they were spotted back together eating lunch in Sydney, Australia, during a break in Miley’s tour.

The tour kicked off again last night (June 22) in Brisbane, the first of seven shows.

The Hannah Montana star and singer, who opens the Australian leg of her Gypsy Heart tour in Brisbane tomorrow night, slipped into town early yesterday and wasted no time grabbing a table at paparazzi-magnet Otto where mum and daughter ordered seafood and salads.

Evading photographers, they bypassed the boardwalk and made a sneaky exit through the Blue Hotel before jumping in a waiting van which whizzed them to Darlinghurst for serious retail therapy.

Cyrus, whose estimated net worth is said to be nudging $1 billion, blazed through a chunk of it at design store Matt Blatt before picking up a few items at sass & bide, Kate Sylvester and Shakuhachi.

"At one point she opened her wallet and realised she didn't have it but a minder ran back to the van and found it in there."

MILEY Cyrus is on a "mission" for her fans. The world's biggest tween sensation will today touchdown in Brisbane for her first-ever Australian tour, Gypsy Heart.

For the next fortnight, every move the Hannah Montana star makes will be tracked by her legion of followers as she crisscrosses the country performing her show, which includes two concerts in Sydney at Acer Arena.

She's also rumoured to be meeting up with her ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth while Down Under.

Hemsworth's older brother, Thor star Chris, indicated the on-off pair would be reuniting - a bonus for the paparazzi.

"He was going to (tour with her in Australia) but I'm not sure," Chris said earlier this month.

The Gypsy Heart tour has already been to South America and the Philipines and, according Cyrus, the shows are "a mission to spread love".

"The Gypsy Heart tour is a dream come true. Not only because of all the beautiful cities I will get to visit, but all of the beautiful people I will get to meet," Cyrus has said.

Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, has sold millions of albums and enjoyed success in television, film and music. Australia is a massive market for the 18-year-old, who has released 10 albums and had hits with tracks including The Climb and Party In The USA.

The daughter of country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus, the singer had a few smaller acting roles before becoming a virtual overnight success in 2006 thanks to the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana series.

She is now one of the pop world's biggest stars, earning a reported $54 million over the past 12 months.

But success has come at a cost for Cyrus. The Disney star has grown up in the public eye, a prime target for paparazzi with her every move followed. And she's slipped up plenty of times, courting controversy.

In December last year, video was released of Cyrus allegedly smoking a bong filled with salvia - a powerful hallucinogenic herb - legally available for sale in California. Her dad took to Twitter to express his disappointment. He wrote: "I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now."

When Miley Cyrus‘s provocative album Can’t Be Tamed dropped last year, we thought it was a definite nail in the coffin for her Disney alter-ego, Hannah Montana. However, her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, is now trying to drum up interest in a Hannah Montana prequel! Do YOU think that’s a good idea?

“You know, there’s wonderful buzz right now for a prequel to Hannah Montana,” Billy Ray told E! News. “I know Miley couldn’t step back and be that little girl, but I could get my mullet back real quick.”

The show premiered in 2006 and aired its final episode in January of 2011, allowing viewers to watch Miley grow from little girl to rebellious teenager…which is why talks of a prequel seem confusing: Miley’s simply too old for the role.

Billy Ray has it figured out already, however: he thinks Miley’s little sister, Noah Cyrus, would be the perfect candidate for the role!

This gushy interview about wanting to do another Hannah Montana project is confusing coming from the man who publicly declared in February he was “scared” for daughter Miley and that the show was responsible for both ruining his family and destroying his marriage.

That said, the back-and-forth of emotions is nothing new for Billy Ray. He filed for divorce from wife Tish Cyrus in October of 2010, only to withdraw the filing in March of 2011, one month after his explosive interview blaming the Disney channel show.

It is clear that Miley is focusing on her life beyond Hannah Montana, performing racy concerts and filming more mature movies, like last year’s The Last Song with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. However, little sis Noah may be very interested in this prequel and the opportunities it could afford her.

After all, the Hannah fan base is enormous…but is Billy Ray willing to risk the efffects of fame on his other daughter?

Yes, it looks like Billy Ray Cyrus has had a change of achy-breaky heart. Last year, he trashed Hannah Montana as the worst thing that had ever happened to the Cyrus clan. Now he wants to do the Disney series all over again. And it doesn't bother Billy Ray one bit that his So Undercover star daughter is a little...well, old to play the Disney darling.

"I know Miley couldn't step back and be that little girl," quips Billy Ray, "but I could get my mullet back real quick."

Indeed. But if Miley Cyrus can't "step back" into the Hannah Montana persona, who will?

Has Billy Ray Cyrus been hitting Miley's discarded Salvia bong? Or is this just another example of what seems to be a pattern in his life--dramatic reversals. Like his much publicized divorce from his wife Tish, for example. In October, 2010, he filed for divorce. He withdrew the petition 6 months later. He and Tish are still together.

If Miley Cyrus has been apprised of her father's new brainstorm, she's keeping her opinion of it to herself. Mercifully, she's still performing in Australia on the last leg of her Gypsy Heart Tour, and she won't have to deal with it for a while. As for Noah, is she ready and able to step into Miley Cyrus's ultra famous shoes? She's probably never even considered it. But if Billy Ray Cyrus has his way again, she may soon find out.

Miley Cyrus director Tom Vaughan supports campaign

Hollywood film director Tom Vaughan has pledged his support for the creation of an arts & entertainment centre in his former hometown of Helensburgh on Scotland’s west coast.

Vaughan, who has recently completed directing Miley Cyrus in forthcoming action comedy “So Undercover”, grew up in Helensburgh and says the plan to create the centre is a ‘wonderful idea’ for the town that inspired him to become a film director.

Vaughan said: “Helensburgh is where I saw my first movies and made my first attempts at film making. I went from watching Harrison Ford in the original ‘Star Wars’ at the old La Scala cinema to directing him in my own film many years later. It’s a long journey but one that started in Helensburgh and I’m sure that this centre, which I wholeheartedly support, will provide similar inspiration for the young people of the town.”

“Speaking both as a film director and a filmgoer there is no better way to see a movie than with an audience and on the big screen. Seeing films in Helensburgh inspired me to pursue a career as a director and it was a terrible shame when La Scala closed down in 1984.”

The Helensburgh Heroes charity has recently received planning permission to convert a former Victorian Warehouse in the town into a three storey Arts and Entertainment Centre, complete with two digital auditoriums, a 50s style diner and arts space.

The charity also hopes to establish a ‘Helensburgh Heroes Hall of Fame’, with memorabilia and displays to celebrate the lives of the local men and women who have made significant contributions to society in their chosen fields. Over 100 inductees have been identified to date, including ‘Father of Television’ John Logie Baird, movie stars Deborah Kerr and Jack Buchanan, authors WH Auden and AJ Cronin and members of the Glasgow Boys and Girls Arts movement.

The charity hopes that by telling the stories of these ‘Heroes’, young people from the town and visitors to the centre will be inspired to emulate their achievements.

It is a sentiment that is echoed by Tom Vaughan. He added: “I remember seeing a model of John Logie Baird’s early TV set in the local library and it made me think that you can come from a small town like Helensburgh and go out into the world and do whatever you want.”

Phil Worms, Director of the Helensburgh Heroes charity, said: “We are delighted that Tom has taken the time out from his hectic production schedule to offer us his support. He absolutely epitomises what this arts and entertainment centre will be about. He is living his dream and we hope that the Heroes Centre will allow many other young people in the town to pursue theirs.”

Worms added: “The West Coast of Scotland boasts an incredibly rich and diverse heritage, and one of which we should be rightly proud, and we hope that companies and individuals will step forward and help us celebrate the achievements of these inspirational men and woman, by supporting the Centre’s fund raising efforts.”

Miley does seem to be getting more comfy with interviews again. For a while she seemed out of place. But she seems much more like her old self now. I guess she just had to get used to being back out in the spotlight and being watched all the time. She had a few months of life without that and she has now chosen to go back to it. It would be as shame if she backed out of it again, after the media has gotten past some of her antics.

I hope that she can stay on the right path this time. I would hate to see her have to seek help or leave the industry, even if I don’t like her singing or acting. I do think she has a place in the industry, which she should focus on keeping at this point. Miley Cyrus has been snapped cruising Wellington's streets in 2040 – and she doesn't look a day older.

Wellington City Council has confirmed it yanked a photo of the pop sensation off the internet – and plonked her into an artist's impressions of how the city will look in the future.

The image, with Cyrus superimposed on to it, was then supplied to The Dominion Post and appeared on yesterday's front page.

It shows Cyrus – who would be 47 in 2040 – jogging along a tree-lined boulevard between Cambridge and Kent terraces.

She appears to have skipped by unnoticed, in her dark sunglasses, as Wellingtonians cycle past and lounge among the foliage, blissfully unaware of the celebrity nearby.

The picture was one of a dozen featured in yesterday's paper, from the Wellington 2040 City Strategy, which gives the council's vision for the "coolest little capital in the world" in 30 years.

Cyrus can also be seen running along a revamped Majoribanks St, looking every bit as young as her present-day 18 years.

Council spokesman Grahame Armstrong said the staffer who created the image knew it was a picture of Cyrus when she took it off the internet.

"But like The Dominion Post, not too many of us noticed it was Miley Cyrus until the next day. As far as we know, the council officer who chose the picture is not a proponent of the Wellywood sign."

Once you quit filming the show, it seems like you made every effort to turn off every parent and girl who looked up to you as a terrific role model.

You sexed up in a barely there corset and over-the-knee black boots in your “Can’t Be Tamed“ video and simulated making out with men and women in your video and on stage. It was practically X-rated for your former audience.

Then there was the salvia-smoking video, the nipple slips and the tattoos. Now you’re on you’re in on tour in the Far East and Australia in leather shorts and garters with a bare stomach and leather bra.

Come on Miley — you’re 18! You don’t need to grow up so fast and you don’t need to lose your young fans so fast!

Take a lesson from Selena Gomez. She’s 18, a tween and teen star too and she’s got a top hit song, “Who Says,” is about to open in the film, Monte Carlo, and she’s never been MORE popular. And she’s done it all without writhing around, pushing up her breasts, simulating sex or dissing her audience.

Miley — you’ve said you don’t want to be a role model and you’ve certainly made that perfectly clear with your actions. But I’m telling you it’s ridiculous to walk away from an audience that you’ve already created.

Selena Gomez cares so much about her fans that she shared the details of her “mystery” illness with them and let them know she was OK. She’s said that she accepts and likes being a role model, even to her youngest fans. Her song “Who Says“, which has sold 844,000 copies in the U.S. alone so far, is all about NOT losing your self-esteem!

And you know what, they’re paying her back with their support. I predict that long after Wizards of Waverly is over — Selena Gomez will be a big star without bondagewear.

Weird Al Parodies Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus And B.o.B On Upcoming Album

Lady Gaga isn’t the only modern day pop star getting skewered by musical mastermind Weird Al Yankovic. Speaking to Reuters, Yankovic spoke on the drama surrounding his Gaga parody “Perform This Way”, but also revealed several of the other parodies on his upcoming album, Alpocalypse (out June 21). Taylor, Miley and B.o.B — consider this the definitive proof that you have officially arrived.

Yankovic, who calls Gaga “a huge talent, a great songwriter and a wonderful performer,” says that he has no ill feelings toward Gaga over the controversy that ensued when her camp initially didn’t give their consent to his parody.

“This is unfortunately not an isolated incident over the course of my career,” he said. “I find it’s better, whenever possible, to go directly to an artist and deal with them personally, but as it turns out I didn’t happen to have Lady Gaga’s home phone number or e-mail address.”

When Gaga finally heard the track, she immediately gave her consent, and even allowed Yankovic the rights to use her song “Poker Face” in a medley called “Polka Face”.

“I had the 11 other tracks in the can for close to a year,” Yankovic said of the rest of the album. “And I was waiting for the right lead-off single. I’ve come to learn over the course of my career that my albums are more successful if they are released concurrently with a single that’s very topical and maybe celebrates a pop culture event of serious magnitude. I thought that Lady Gaga, and specifically her new album and single, was a sufficiently large event. I thought Gaga had sufficiently rocked the zeitgeist enough for me to make that choice.”

Some of the other 11 tracks include parodies of other hit singles released by pop’s biggest names:

The album also includes parodies of Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me” (”TMZ”), Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” (”Party in the CIA,” also timely in the wake of the Osama Bin Laden assassination), B.o.B’s “Nothin’ On You” (”Another Tattoo”) and T.I.’s “Whatever You Like,” with the same title. Yankovic also recorded stylistic homages to the White Stripes (”CNR”), Queen (”Ringtone”) and the Doors (”Craigslist,” with the group’s Ray Manzarek guesting on keyboards).

He’s not kidding when he says his other tracks were recorded a year ago – Taylor Swift’s “You Belong To Me” and Miley’s “Party In The U.S.A.” aren’t exactly the most recent tracks we’ve heard from those two. Regardless, he had us at “Polka Face”. We couldn’t be more psyched for this album.

Miley Cyrus sizzles as lingere-clad street fighter

Miley Cyrus looked super hot as she wore some sexy lingerie in the photographs taken for her upcoming movie So Undercover.

Apart from looking sexy in the movie, Cyrus also had to learn to fight and use guns.

“I've been doing fighting, like learning how to box...mostly like street fighting, so knowing how to, like, if someone comes up from behind you, being able to defend yourself,” Gossipcenter quoted Cyrus as telling the press.

“I have a trainer and I have bruises everywhere from, like, kicking the bags... And I've learned how to use guns, which was really scary,” she added.

We shouldn’t really be surprised that Disney star Miley Cyrus likes to “advertise” her lady parts. But at least this time, it’s all in the good name of work! Miley appears in her undies for this new promo shot for her new movie, So Undercover.

Miley has been guilty of showing off a little too much, first starting with her half naked Vanity Fair cover. Not to mention that photo of herself laying all over her father. Controversy must be her middle name! Seriously, she was caught on video smoking Salvia, and even though it’s legal, it’s not really a good example for the younger generation of which she appeals to.

Miley Cyrus slams Urban Outfitters

Miley Cyrus may not be the first person we turn to for advice when it comes to weighty issues like current events and gay rights, but the singer has spent the past few days posting Tweets that are decidedly less OMG-y than usual.

Cyrus took aim at Urban Outfitters following reports that the company stole a necklace design from a jewelry artist in Chicago (which the Philadelphia-based fashion-and-accessories chain "unequivocally" denies), as well as Urban Outfitters president Richard Hayne’s contributions to right-wing Republican Sen. Rick Santorum and his Political Action Committee.

Cyrus Tweeted, "Love that everybody is hating on Urban Outfitters." She added, "Not only do they steal from artists but every time you give them money you help finance a campaign against gay equality. #SHADYASHELL"

Hashtags aside, Cyrus also pointed out, "IF WE ALLOW GAY MARRIAGE NEXT THING U KNOW PEOPLE WILL BE MARRYING GOLD FISH" - Rick Santorum UO contributed $13,000 to this mans campaign"

The necklace in question is part of designer Stevie K's United/World of Love line that includes necklace charms in the shape of states with a heart cut-out. Urban Outfitters is offering a very similar piece for less than half of the price

Not so long ago, she was one of Disney's most beloved teenage stars, appearing on hit tween show Hannah Montana and playing sold-out concerts to thousands of young fans.

But Miley Cyrus is clearly growing up fast, judging by these photographs from her latest movie.

The 18-year-old star strips down to a pair of short orange and red night shorts and a lacy red bra in one scene from So Undercover.

The comedy film, released this October, features Miley as an investigator hired to pose as a sorority girl to protect a mobster's daughter.

'She's basically this chick who grows up as a super tomboy,' the actress and singer told MTV during filming last year.
