Miley Cyrus may be one of the hottest celebrities in the world, but when it comes to the biggest party night of the year, New Year’s Eve, she wants to keep it simple with no frills. In fact, a source close to the 19-year-old pop star tells us all the former Disney queen wants is to celebrate with her number one guy, Liam Hemsworth.

“Miley wants to have a fun low key New Year’s with Liam,” the insider says. “There might be a few friends involved, but she’d rather just be cuddled up watching the ball drop and seeing a movie with her boyfriend.”

Adds the friend, “She is really in love and just wants to have a quiet, fun night, with a nice dinner too.”

It’s no secret Miley is head over heels for Liam, 21 — she’s been tweeting up a storm about him lately, even encouraging her fans to vote for him as Best Boyfriend of 2011.

Miley Cyrus reveals her trim bikini body in Hawaii

Miley Cyrus put on quite the performance as she strutted around the golden sands of Hawaii.

The 19-year-old singer took to the beach, parading a noticeably trimmer figure in a bright orange bikini.

She was joined by her Australian boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who she has been dating on-off for the past two-and-a-half years.

The singer is clearly excited about the New Year, tweeting to her fans: 'I love all the positive energy y’all are sending my way for 2012! :) I’m stoked for this year!'

Hemsworth, brother of Thor star Chris Hemsworth, will star in the upcoming movie The Hunger Games, which hits theatres in March.

He will also get to work promoting The Expendables 2 next year.

Miley Cyrus Clarifies Video Incident in Costa Rica

Miley Cyrus explained her actions within a recently surfaced YouTube video that shows Cyrus searing at a fan in in Costa Rica.

A video of Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in Costa Rica hit the web on Wednesday that shows Cyrus and Hemsworth stopping to sign autographs for fans. When the couple were about to leave and board their awaiting helicopter, an unknown female called Cyrus an “a**hole,” which prompted Miley to turn and ask in return, “What the f***? Are you for real?”

After the video was posted on YouTube, Miley Cyrus hit Twitter to defend her actions.

In a new tweet, Miley Cyrus explained why she said what she said. “Been trying not to tweet & just enjoy the holidays,” said Miley, “but just to clear something up I would NEVER swear to a fan. When someone yells something SO rude making ME look like an “a**hole” in front of fans who I am more than happy [to] take a picture [with], I can’t tolerate that kind of rudeness.”

Miley Cyrus also added that all of the fans on hand apologized for the woman, who was obviously not a fan.

From our perspective, Miley shouldn’t have to defend her actions anyway, but …

Miley Cyrus T-shirt for brother Trace's clothing line

Miley Cyrus has helped her brother Trace Cyrus to design a T-shirt for his clothing line, Southern Made Hollywood Paid.

Trace, who revealed that they have always wanted to do the collaboration, was inspired by Miley's dream catcher tattoo for the shirt's design, reports People.

"I wanted to think of something that really reminded me of [her]," Trace said.

He added: "It was something we were always around since childhood, because of the influence from our dad."

The T-shirts, which also feature a peace sign and Miley's autograph, are sold for $28 each with all proceeds going to Miley's Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation.

In September, Miley campaigned via Twitter to help save farmland development in Australia at her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's hometown of Phillip Island.

Miley Cyrus a Role Model?

Someone should tell Miley Cyrus that she give up the term "role model" when she gave up Hannah Montana. Miley has actually had the nerve to come out and say that she thinks she is a role model for girls. Sadly, many are not seeing the same thing that Cyrus seems to see in herself.

So, what gives? Miley Cyrus tells it how it is:

I take being a role model very seriously and that's why I try so hard to relate to my fans. I'm not here to be something that I'm not. I feel like I can help them go through whatever it is they are going through and they can help me too.

Stop the presses... She takes being a role model "very seriously?" Somehow, Miley forgot that when she laughed about being a junky and casually smoking pot on her birthday. Oh, and the plunging necklines at a gala event that cause every tabloid to say she had a boob job? That is clearly role model material.

Miley Cyrus Denies Getting a Boob Job

As real as it gets. That’s what Miley Cyrus‘ assets just below the neck are. The teen is shooting down rumors that she got an upgrade and had a boob job, after photos of her in a low-cut, revealing yellow dress on the red carpet of the CNN Heroes 2011 Awards on Dec. 11 lead to such speculation.

Star (courtesy of Radar Online) even discussed Miley’s ample, full bosom in the photos with a plastic surgeon named Dr. Tahl Humes, who commented that the singer’s boobs look augmented. Dr. Humes said, “Her breasts are very nice and round and it looks like she has had them done. If you look at the volume, it appears she has had a breast augmentation.” Hmm, you sure it’s not that she’s a young, genetically blessed teen?

Cyrus actually got wind of the good doc’s speculation and issued a tweet on the matter, seeming to prove his expert opinion wrong. Cyrus, who turned 19 last month, posted: “Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine. I wish they’d realize you don’t have to be fake to be beautiful!”

There you have it. Miley Cyrus’ twins are all natural and her own. No upgrade. No boosting. No cup size increase. Back off, haters! Don’t be jealous that Miley Cyrus is beautifully au naturel.

Miley Cyrus blasts boob job rumours

Erstwhile Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has hit out at rumours suggesting she's had breast enhancement surgery.

Rumours that the starlet had opted for a boob job surfaced after the 19-year-old rocked the red carpet at a bash in Los Angeles on Sunday, decked out in a plunging Roberto Cavalli dress.

The former Disney darling was accompanied by her boyfriend, actor Liam Hemsworth who joined her at the CNN Heroes: All-Star Tribute.

Star magazine (via RadarOnline), on what must have been a crawling news day, stirred the mix and fuelled the bust-boosting rumours - they even drafted in a trio of "experts" who supposedly claimed "there's a strong indication" Cyrus has gone "under the knife to achieve the voluptuous new look."

"Her breasts are very nice and round and it looks like she has had them done," said one cosmetic physician. "If you look at the volume, it appears she has had a breast augmentation.

Another plastic surgeon echoed: "The outline of the implants are clearly visible in the inner lower portions of her breasts," he said. "Even a large weight gain would not produce breast enhancement to this degree without implants!"

So what does the starlet herself have to say?

"Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine," she tweeted yesterday, "I wish they'd realise you don't have to be fake to be beautiful!"

She added: "HA! Yeah! And I'm 19!!! BOOBS GROW PEOPLE!"

Miley Cyrus keeps it sexy on 'American Giving Awards' red carpet

Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet of the American Giving Awards in hopes to raise awareness to other who change the community and the award. The first annual event is hosted by NBC and airs on Saturday night, only a day after the stars gathered in Los Angeles to tape the show. Sharing the best of the community, it was a chance to intertwine entertainment and good deeds to remind the audience to help during the holiday time of the year.

The taping, only a night prior, had Miley Cyrus impressing the crowds as she walked the red carpet. One of the primary stars of the award show, she showed up in an off cream gown that showed off all her curves.

With a deep plunging neckline laced with jewels, the entertainer was showing off skin as well as beauty in what could be considered a classic Hollywood look. Keeping the focus on her gown, Cyrus kept her hair back and had large dangling earrings to frame her face gorgeously.

The American Giving Awards are new to primetime audience. The first event that has a celebrity tribute to community heroes, there was $1 million in Chase grants up for grabs so a handful of charities may continue their work in helping others. Miley Cyrus Attends Holiday Party, Meets 'Hello Kitty'

Miley Cyrus attended a holiday party on Friday night where she got to meet Hello Kitty! The teen queen was so excited and had such a great time! It's unknown if she attended with her beau, Liam Hemsworth, but it sounds like it was fun either way.

"'Get Your Good On' made my dream come true tonight! I got to meet HELLO KITTY! Awesome night down in OC at Sharing the spirit holiday party," Cyrus tweeted. It's hard to imagine that stars like Miley can still have "dreams" outside of what they have already achieved, but evidently they do! The singer was thrilled about her night out and she wanted to share it with her fans.

Miley Cyrus has been lying low as of late, but she is still going out to smaller events that don't get a lot of publicity. She seems to always be doing something fun and exciting and meeting Hello Kitty is a good example of that. If fans are lucky, she might tweet a photo of her experience later on.

Miley Cyrus Covers Bob Dylan in New Release

Singer Miley Cyrus covers Bob Dylan in a new song released this week as part of a charity compilation. Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International will feature You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go, covered by the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, this is the first time in quite a while that the Hannah Montana star has released some new music, and fans will be certain to love this cut from the album.

Lots of A-list singers appear on the Bob Dylan cover album as well, including Adele and Ke$ha. Miley Cyrus reportedly 'does her southern roots justice' on what is being called a country rendition of this Bob Dylan classic tune.

Miley Cyrus Defends Kelly Osbourne on Twitter over Pot Smoking Comments

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus recently took on Twitter users who were attacking her friend Kelly Osbourne. It all started because of the Hannah Montana star, though. What was the cause of all the fuss online?

All of the commotion was due to Miley's recent speech at her birthday party where she joked about a love for pot. This originated from that popular Miley Cyrus smoking salvia from a bong video that was viral online not long ago. Her good pal Kelly Osbourne made sure to go on Twitter recently and insisted that Miley's comments at the birthday bash were just part of a big joke. However, many Twitter users decided to go after Osbourne for her comments in defense of Miley. Like a good friend, Miley Cyrus was quick to tweet out:

Osbourne responded back with love for her friend Miley saying:

So there you have it. Kelly Osbourne defends Miley on Twitter, and then Miley was there to defend Kelly. They seem to make a strong Twitter team and were able to withstand all the haters! Talk about a good pair of friends!

Miley Cyrus Ain't a Stoner, but Who'd Care If She Was?

Why would Miley Cyrus say she smokes pot and then go through so much trouble to say she doesn't? Pot does not matter to fans in 2011!

True that. If I were Miley Cyrus I'd worry more about explaining how I acquired that unicorn and smuggled it into my birthday party. The fairies and elves have got to be seriously pissed about that.

As for the whole marijuana flap—in which Miley called herself a stoner and then trotted out her friends to explain she was joking—I can explain the confusion quite simply:

You're absolutely right that most of Cyrus's fans could not even care less about what she smokes. She's 19 now, after all, and no longer bound to Disney and the family fare that channel represents. (A year ago, Cyrus was seen smoking salvia, and even though she broke no laws, the image of a barely 18-year-old Cyrus with a bong was seen as much more scandalous.)

And yet, soon after Cyrus declared herself a "stoner" in a birthday video, good friend Kelly Osbourne felt the need to Tweet a vigorous defense of Cyrus, insisting that "If @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she works everyday. How could she possible do all that if she was a stoner!"

Cyrus's publicists also have gone into spin mode, saying the whole so-called pot admission was just a big joke.

Why all the careful backtracking? Because the kids aren't the only parties who matter, my dear.

EXCUSE YOU: Who's Calling Miley Fat?

"Fans don't care," says independent marketer Jeannie Long, who has does extensive work with the teen demographic. "But the media does and will glom on to stuff like that and associate it with her forever."

As a result, still other parties might see decide that Cyrus suddenly doesn't make for good business, Long explains.

"If the media keeps hammering home about someone being a certain way...it definitely effects jobs that the star can get—sponsorships, corporate tie-ins," Long says.

Indeed: Champion swimmer Michael Phelps lost a lucrative partnership with Kellogg's after he was photographed using a bong.

So while fans will always love Miley, she has unicorns to buy, and that can only be achieved if she continues to get jobs.

Miley Cyrus Flashes Underwear

On Wednesday, Miley Cyrus hit the streets of Los Angeles for a shopping trip, hopefully in search of some thicker clothing.

The 19-year-old shopped at the hip boutique Maxfield while clad in a completely sheer black polka-dot dress, which completely exposed her underwear and bra from underneath.

She accessorized with black flats, a belt and an oversized tote.

Her see-through ensemble isn't the only faux-pas the starlet has committed recently.

In a video obtained by The Daily last week, the 19-year-old singer was feted at her November 22 birthday party with a Bob Marley-themed cake that suggested she was a big fan of marijuana.

"You know you're a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake," the former Disney star said in the clip. "You know you smoke way too much f-cking weed!"

It was all in good fun, Cyrus' rep told Us Weekly on Monday. "It's all been taken out of context," her rep says. "The cake was a joke and Miley's response was intended to be sarcastic."
