Miley Cyrus commemorates her trip to Brazil

She has told fans that she has fallen in love with Brazil.

So it is understandable that Miley Cyrus would want to take a souvenir of her visit home with her.

The singer chose the most permanent of mementos, though, by having a new tattoo- her sixth - done before leaving the country.

Miley posed for photographs with Brazilian tattoo artist Fabio Sattori after he created a new etching on her right wrist.

The 18-year-old also watched as her friends had their own tattoos and body piercings done.

The former Hannah Montana star has been taking time out in Rio de Janeiro with her large entourage of family and friends for the past week, before resuming her Gypsy Heart tour in Bogota on Thursday.

She tweeted: I never want Gypsy <3 to end. I would LOVE more than anything to continue travelling. The world gets more beautiful everyday.

'Brazil has inspired me to add one more song to my set. I think you guys are gonna be very happy about the new addition.'
It is so far unclear what her new tattoo is, but it joins Miley's already vast collection of symbols and words. Her first tattoo - the words 'Just Breathe' on the left side of her chest - caused controversy as Miley was under age when it was done.

US law prohibits tattoos on those under 18, but when the 17-year-old star wanted to get the tattoo aged 17 in 2009 her parents signed a consent form. Other inkings soon followed. Miley has an outline of a love heart on her pinky and a cross on the inside of her ring finger, both on her right hand.
The Party In The USA singer also has the word 'LOVE' on the inside of her ear, as well as her largest - a dream catcher on the right side of her ribcage, which she acquired earlier this year.

This week a leaked photograph of the singer getting her dream catcher tattoo done leaked online.

The photograph shows a topless Miley lying down and clutching a shirt to her chest to cover her modesty. Miley will also play dates in San Jose, Mexico City and Manila before finishing her tour up in Australia in June.

Miley Cyrus Gets Racy With Costume in Brazil

It’s been a banner week for anyone interested in Miley Cyrus‘ body, as the starlet paraded around a Brazilian beach earlier in the week, and now just days later, she hit the stage sporting some seriously provocative outfits.

Cyrus took the stage in Rio on Friday night donning a bedazzled leather bikini top with odd-looking cut-out leather shorts, proving to the world that she’s definitely moved on from her Hannah Montana days and is now here to push some buttons.

Cyrus is in Brazil as part of her Gypsy Heart tour. After one more concert in Brazil, she’ll continue her South American trek by hitting up Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia before making her way to Mexico.

Earlier this week, she was spotted sunbathing with her mom Tish and others on a Rio beach, and took to Twitter shortly after to complain about how photographers were scoping her out.

Miley Cyrus is currently overseas on her Gypsy Heart concert tour. While in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Miley took to the stage to perform her hit song “7 Things.”

The song is rumored to be written about Nick Jonas, who many wish Miley would get back together with. However, since Miley is rumored to be back with ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and Nick is dating Delta Goodrem, we don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Still showing a reluctance to wear actual clothing in her attempts to distance herself from the squeaky-clean image of Hannah Montana, Miley appears ready to impress the fans in a jacket and underwear. What isn’t impressive is the version of ‘the wave’ that Miley and gang take part in before getting the show going. I’m all for doing something united to show camaraderie before a performance, but I think I’d go for something that didn’t look quite so… well… dumb.

While the move does look a little lame, it provides a few laughs for them so it’s probably a good way to chase away any last-minute tension.

Miley Cyrus and her mother show off what could be considered prison tats while in paradise.

When you see the picture you expect Dog the Bounty Hunter and his crew to come storming up over the dunes, decend down on the group and start handcuffing people while calling everyone “Brah.” It’s not that the people in the pics are committing a crime; it is just the fact that there are so many jailhouse looking tattoos that you would think someone in that group did some time.

You might never guess it was Miley Cyrus, her mom and other members of inner circle out at the beach for a little relaxation in Brazil while Miley tours South America. Has Miley or her mom ever done a stint in Sing Sing or up in San Quentin because some of the tats this crew is sporting look like they might have been done by a guy doing 3-5 for B&E?

Miley Cyrus and her mom Tish Cyrus hit the beach with a few other people, quickly stripped down to their bikinis and – judging by the pics – seemed to have a good time soaking up some sun and playing around on the beach. Miley looks fit and her mom is in pretty good shape too, but the tattoos are a little alarming. Tish Cyrus has a full back tattoo of angle wings. I guess you never fully expect a mom to have a full back tattoo, but there is no missing these. Miley has the words ‘Just Breathe’ under her left breast (a tribute to a friend who had cystic fibrosis) and a dream catcher on her ribs. She reportedly has five different tattoos, but these two were the most visible as Miley Cyrus and mom had bikini time in the warm Brazilian sun.

Miley Cyrus to Surprise 'Idol' Contestant With Appearance

'American Idol' contestant, Lauren Alaina, whose rendition of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb' had some saying she sang it better than the original, will be in for quite a surprise tonight as Ms. Cyrus herself joins Alaina's team of mentors, according to E! Online.

Cyrus is slated to appear on the talent show alongside Interscope's Jimmy Iovine to give Alaina the advice she needs to take home the 'Idol' title.

But will things be awkward between Iovine, who recently slammed the singer, and Cyrus? We don't see how they couldn't be. During one of Alaina's rehearsals with Iovine, he told the aspiring superstar that she was "a much stronger singer than Miley Cyrus."

According to E!, Iovine later regretted dissing the 18-year-old pop phenom and is personally responsible for inviting her on the show to coach the 16-year-old contestant. Although Alaina's song choice for tonight's performance is still under wraps, it has been reported that it will be a mid-tempo ballad -- a genre on which Cyrus is more than capable of sharing her words of wisdom.

We're assured of a couple of things during Cyrus' appearance: a screaming (and most likely teary-eyed) Alaina and either a total dismissal of or awkward reference to Iovine's Cyrus-dissing comments.

But what's one thing that's still up in the air? Cyrus' ensemble of course. The consistently controversial fashion hound tweeted a pic, last night, posing in a cut-out shoulder hand-me-down shirt -- "loving my new old top :) my besties mom whipped this one out of her closet from the 80s and passed it down to me :) LOVE," she tweeted.

Liam Hemsworth Will ‘Most Likely’ Join Miley Cyrus On Her Australian Tour!

Miley Cyrus had some of her fans worried yesterday when she tweeted about being sad that people don’t “love you the way you love them.” You guys were split on whether or not she was sending a message to current long-distance boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, but we can reveal she and Liam are still going strong. So strong in fact, they may go to Australia together again this summer! Isn’t that great news for Miley’s relationship?

So what’s next for the couple who are enduring a temporary separation while Miley tours South and Central America? Miley’s headed to Liam’s home country at the end of June. “They are still a couple and they have talked about how fun it will be when she tours Australia in June.”

So does this mean Liam’s definitely accompanying Miley? “Chances are pretty good!” exclaimed our insider.

We spoke to Liam’s rep about his summer plans and he said, “”He left LA to go shoot Hunger Games in North Caroline, so he will be there working.”

Liam is getting ready to shoot The Hunger Games with Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence, but his part in the first book does not necessarily signify a huge amount of screen time. It is possible that Liam could finish filming and meet up with his girlfriend in Oz. “He’s going to try to visit Miley while she’s in Australia,” a source close to Liam confesses. “It all depends on work.”

Get Miley Cyrus’ Dressing Room Style!

Say what you like about Miley Cryus, love or hate her, but the girl can decorate a room. While I’m not a massive fan of her music, I do love her interior style! Looking at pictures of inside Miley’s house, the dressing room was by far the favourite. It is something I could imagine loving to decorate if I was lucky enough to have such a room. It’s bright, girly, over the top in a great way and totally indulgent, as a dressing room should be.

Demi Lovato Going to Duet with Miley?

Demi Lovato is busy focusing on her new album, and her fans want her to do a duet with Miley Cyrus! It would be quite a collaboration for the girls, and their fans know it. It's unknown whether or not the young stars have talks about getting together to record something for Demi's album, but it is being talked about on Twitter.

"While nothing is set in stone for Miley and Demi to collaborate on a song together in the future, we can totally see it happening. Especially after 'MileyDemiDuet' trended for quite some time on Twitter yesterday," reports Disnology.

It's hard to choose what type of song the girls would do together, but hopefully they would pick something more upbeat versus a ballad. Both of them have very different sounds, but if they tapped in to their rock-and-roll sides (while still keeping it pop), they could make something radio-worthy. You never know who will team up in the industry and this collaboration would be hot!

Miley Cyrus goes antique shopping

When many celebrities head out on a World tour they barely see the cities they visit – just the hotel rooms.

But Miley Cyrus has proved to be quite the culture vulture during her stop on Buenos Aires yesterday, for a while at least.

The 18-year-old singer, who is currently touring with her Gypsy Heart show, was seen scouring an antiques shop at the San Telmo in the South American city and appeared captivated by the potential treasures the shop had in store.

The singer was dressed in a cream leather jacket a Harley Davidson T-shirt and a pair of jeans for the shopping trip, accessorising with a large silver cross around her neck.

The Climb singer pointed out at different trinkets and treasures before she found a comfortable spot to check her phone.

Recent reports that Miley Cyrus is dating Patrick Schwarzenegger, 17, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, are not correct.

A source close to Miley tells Gossip Cop that Miley is "not dating" Schwarzenegger. "They're not together."

The National Enquirer recently reported that Patrick "recently confessed to having a crush on Miley – and now the two are dating."

The tabloid quoted a source as saying, "It's early, but Miley is hoping to rope Patrick into a full-fledged romance. She thinks he's way classier than her previous boyfriends and she's betting that the connection will help improve her bad girl image."

Miley Cyrus Has Her Eye On Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son?

New rumours have surfaced that teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus is linked to one of Hollywood’s most eligible teen bachelors, Patrick Schwarzenegger.

The gossip surfaced courtesy of American tabloid the National Enquirer, which claimed Cyrus had her sights set on the 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The tabloid claimed that Patrick had recently ‘confessed’ to having a long-standing crush on Cyrus.

Patrick, who has previously dated Talullah Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, supposedly admitted in an interview with Details Magazine that his eye was “set on Miley Cyrus”.

The Enquirer claimed the Hannah Montana star first rang Schwarzenegger after asking Selena Gomez for his number.

That in itself seems unlikely. Cyrus asking Gomez for a boy’s number, and then pursuing him like that? This is Miley Cyrus we’re talking about. Guys line up outside her door hoping for a date, and when was the last time Gomez and Cyrus were seen hanging out?!

The same ‘source’, who I can’t help but wonder where he/she got this information, claims there is something in this ‘romance’ for Schwarzenegger as well.

The rumour goes as far as to say that Schwarzenegger’s famous parents, who are themselves in the midst of a separation, are less than impressed with their son’s choice of ‘girlfriend’, worrying that Cyrus may lure Schwarzenegger into the party scene.

The Enquirer reported Schwarzenegger and Cyrus have gone on several coffee dates and plan to build their relationship from there. Seems a little difficult though given Cyrus is a few weeks into her worldwide Gypsy Heart Tour…!

It seems like a good day in the celebrity world to announce breakups, with Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko announcing their split, along with Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli parting ways. So we’re wondering what has gotten Disney star Miley Cyrus so sad lately?

Billy Ray Cyrus Plots Next Record

The twelfth album from the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer (and Miley Cyrus pop) Billy Ray Cyrus will hit record stores this summer. Buena Vista Records will release I'm American on June 28. It will be the first album for the country singer since 2009's Back to Tennessee.

The last album made it to number 13 on the Billboard Country Album chart for the Nashville-based singer. He went nine-times platinum back in 1992 with his debut record Some Gave All.

'm American will contain a handful of "songs dedicated to the spirit of being American," says an official press release. Amy Grant, Jamey Johnson, Craig Morgan and Darryl Worley will all make appearances on the disc.

The album's first single, "Runway Lights," will hit radiowaves later this month. That tune will also serve as the theme for TLC's Surprise Homecoming series, slated to debut on May 30.

Cyrus says he was inspired to write these tunes following a USO tour in 2009. He dedicated the album "to a new generation of troops, while paying respect to all veterans past and present," says a statement.

Miley Cyrus has covered Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, dedicating her version to her brother.

The actress-and-singer found fame on Disney's Hannah Montana television show, but has been trying to break free from her child star image.

The 18-year-old kicked off her Gypsy Heart Tour on Friday, with a concert in Ecuador. She seemed keen to prove she is less pop and more rock chick these days, choosing to cover one of grunge group Nirvana's biggest hits.

She dedicated the song to her little brother Braison, who she said she was already missing.

"It's hard living on the road because you miss your family back home and this song is something I always sing with my little brother who can't be with me here on tour," she said. "So this song is also for him."

The star added music is all about inspiration for her, and Nirvana are one of the bands she looks up to the most.

She was thrilled to be able to do her own version of the 1991 track, which was caught on camera by one concertgoer and later posted on video sharing website YouTube.

"I have a lot of fans come up and tell me that I inspire them and make them want to follow their dreams," she told the audience. "And so this one I want to be able to do the music that inspired me and made me want to be here on this stage tonight."

The Gypsy Heart Tour will end in Australia in July.

Although there's nothing officially in the works between Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato on a duet, it's clear from #MileyDemiDuet, that a duet between the two stars is in demand," as punctuated by Twitter user @JLam21 who revealed, "I would definitely love to see a MileyDemiDuet." A similar sentiment came from Twitter user @jessymolloy who stated, "Oh my god! A MileyDemiDuet would be AMAZING!"

Since the power of the people has moved mountains in recent years thanks to such social networks as Twitter and Facebook, it will be interesting to see if the demand for a Miley and Demi duet has a ripple effect in real life to make it happen.

Miley Cyrus puts on sensual show for adoring Peruvian crowd

Former Disney star sweetheart Miley Cyrus emerged from her innocent past Sunday night declaring her independence with her first song, "Liberty Walk".
The song lyrics speak to leaving behind what binds you to the past. But 18-year-old Cyrus did pull out her Hannah Montana blonde wig and sing a few songs from her childhood star days, including "The Climb" and "See You Again".

"The Gypsy Heart Tour is a dream come true. Not only because of all the beautiful cities I will get to visit, but all of the beautiful people I will get to meet. Gypsy Heart is not just a tour for me, but a mission to spread love," Cyrus said of her latest tour.

Cyrus kicked off the tour in Quito, Ecuador on Saturday night. Sporting a leather jacket, ripped half shirt, black tights, a black garter belt, thigh-high black stiletto boots, and skin-tight, brief short-shorts, her chosen look has been compared to Gossip Girl actress and The Pretty Reckless front woman, Taylor Momsen.
The star tweeted shortly after the concert saying, "I can't wait for the next show! LIMA HERE I COME !!!!! You got tough competition ECUADOR was freakingggg amaz!"

Lima rose to Cyrus' challenge, never ceasing to shout and cheer through each and every song. Miley said goodbye to the audience as they sang each phrase of the song "Who Owns My Heart" in unison.
The tour will take Cyrus through Latin America, the Philippines and Australia, ending in Perth on July 2. Cyrus told the Huffington Post in April that the tour travels to places where she felt the most loved.

"America has gotten to a place where I don’t know if they want me to tour or not," Cyrus said.
